DANCE DIALOGUE is a method that stimulates contact in a surprising and sometimes
intensive way. In dance dialogue people learn to speak in the language of their own
bodies through conscious movement and dance improvisation. Body language is very
important in our communication. Where words tell us something about the content of
a message, the body speaks about the relationship with the other. Verbal communication
in dance dialogue is being used for reflection: verbalizing and understanding what’s
being expressed through body language. Dance is not only suitable as a medium for
mutual dialogue but also for communication with a wider audience. The dancers speak
with their bodies to the audience and thus directly tell a story about their relationships.
"You
physically get acquainted with each other and develop a feeling of trust among each
other.”
